Full Job Description

An opening for a Commercial Lawyer with civil litigation and construction law experience has appeared within an award-winning and established Law firm with stunning Melbourne offices. The position has become available due to the growth of the firm.

Enjoy working with a team of experienced business and commercial lawyers who provides professional legal advice to all industries ranging from start-ups and small business all the way through to large corporations, including some of the world’s leading companies and brands.

You have the opportunity to enjoy novel & complex matters and exciting legal work related to business contracts, commercial construction and litigation, as well as pre-contract negotiation and a range of other commercial matters.

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years of PQE experience with commercial law/civil litigation and construction law.
- Independent - can think for themselves, but also happy to work as part of a team for complex problem solving
- A clear and straightforward communicator
- Bright and able to work on complex matters.
- Attention to detail - adept analysis of legal matters, research & drafting skills.
- Experience in Business Development & readily ability to manage client expectations
- Adept commercial acumen and disposition - proactive, innovative and outcome-focused approach
