Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a
Litigation Lawyer
based in
Melbourne
,
Sydney
, or
Brisbane
. You'll work closely with pre-eminent Partners in a highly regarded disputes team, gaining exposure to complex, high-profile commercial litigation matters. From day one, you'll manage a diverse caseload - drafting pleadings, preparing evidence, advising blue-chip clients, and appearing in mediations and court proceedings. You'll also play a role in business development and mentoring junior lawyers, while honing your advocacy and strategic advisory skills in a supportive, high-performing environment.

About you

  • Law degree (LLB or equivalent) and admission to practice law in Australia or New Zealand
  • Ideally seeking candidates with a minimum of 4 years' PQE gained within the Litigation/Dispute Resolution team of a leading mid-tier or top-tier private practice firm
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence for commercial disputes
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage client relationships with confidence
