We are offering a full-time position for a mature, experienced, well-rounded Commercial & Litigation Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years post-admission experience in the area of general litigation including Supreme Court of Victoria, County Court, Magistrates Court and VCAT (Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal) jurisdictions.

This role will involve a focus in the following:

  • Commercial litigation;
  • Lease agreements and lease disputes;
  • Sale / Purchase of businesses;
  • Debt recovery;
  • Loan Agreements;
  • Joint Venture Agreements;
  • Adverse Possession claims;
  • Guardianship Disputes; and
  • Part IV (TFM) Claims

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years post-admission experience;
  • LEAP - Experience with this practice management software is preferable;
  • Can work independently without supervision;
  • Ability to build and foster a rapport with clients;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and can work efficiently under pressure;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Driven to learn and improve;
  • Passionate about law.

Salary package will be negotiable depending on experience, maturity & professionalism.
