Safety, Quality, Environment & Recycling Compliance Officer We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining systems, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO
9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), ISO 45001 (Safety), ASNZS 5377 (E-waste) management systems.
- Develop, implement and maintain relevant compliance policies. Assist in the regular review of those policies, where relevant, and ensure they remain adequate for the business.
- Assist with audits (internal/external), inspections, observations, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in risk assessment activities, toolbox meetings, prepare and maintain the JSAs, forms, checklists, and procedures.
- Assist with maintaining the company document control system and verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions proposed.
Conducting inspections/audits and maintaining records and documentation Implementing corrective measures to address any identified issues Responding to inquiries from regulators and other stakeholders Providing guidance and training to employees on regulatory and compliance matters Assist in the development and delivery of a refreshed compliance training program. Ensure files are maintained and up to date.
Qualifications: Relevant experience in the recycling industry is preferred Experience with Product Stewardship Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to identify and assess potential risks and develop effective solutions A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
