**About the Company**
Our client provides cleaning, security and property services to a client base in the commercial, retail and industrial sectors to name a few. Ensuring these places are looked after with high standards of compliance, safety and customer service.

**About the role**:

- Partner with businesses to develop WH&S procedures and practices
- Coordinate WH&S activities in conjunction with business managers
- Undertake workplace inspection, auditing and risk assessment
- Monitor, measure and report on WH&S metrics
- Develop and implement WH&S training programs
- Support the tenders and aquisitions teams with key safety information
- Complete incident investigations in conjunction with key stakeholders
- Keeping up to date with ‘legislation, standards, and codes of practice’ as well as technical knowledge and providing relevant advice
- Liaise with regulatory agencies as required
- Coordinating wellbeing initiatives
- Providing advice on return-to-work strategies and rehabilitation across multi jurisdictions

**To excel in this role, you must exhibit**:

- Experience working in multi-faceted businesses with a diverse and wide spread workforce
- Proven legislative interpretation, policy formulation, and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to the services industry i.e cleaning, security and FM
- Familiarity with the industrial relations, legal, risk, training, WHS, and Workers Compensation legislation in order to advise and facilitate the resolution of complex issues to stakeholders
- Ability to understand Australian Standards, compliance codes and legislative frameworks and to ensure systems are compliant
- Understanding of the risks faced in the services industry in general
- Leadership experience in a HSE role, and leading WHS/RTW teams

**Education and/or professional qualifications**:

- Qualifications in OHS (min Diploma)
- RTW Coordination qualification (Advantage)
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent attention to detail. Strong report writing skills.
