Quality & Safety Manager

**QUALITY & SAFETY MANAGER FOR TP AEROSPACE UK**
We are TP Aerospace A fast growing and dynamic company operating in the aviation industry. With headquarters in Copenhagen and ten sites spanning from Orlando to Melbourne, we operate in a highly global environment TP Aerospace is in private equity ownership, catalyzing our development and underlying our attractive business model. Things are moving fast and we are looking for a Quality & Safety Manager who hold a solid knowledge in quality management and safety management principles and best practices.

Working from one of our production facilities in Melbourne, Australia, our new Quality and Safety Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an independent Quality and Safety management system that complies with CASA and EASA Part 145 regulations.

**RESPONSIBILITY/DUTIES**
You will work together with the global quality team, who are ensuring that products and processes meet the established quality standards, dealing with stakeholder through out the organization, as well as you will be working on site with the production and management team, attending daily production meetings and weekly management meetings and ensure training, assessments and authorizations records are all kept up to date for all staff.
Your responsibilities and duties include but is not limited to:

- Establishment of an independent quality and safety assurance management system for the monitoring of compliance by TP Aerospace Technics Pty Ltd against CASA and EASA Part 145 requirements.
- Development and management of company policies, procedures, Maintenance Organization Expositions, and all other relevant documentation that demonstrate compliance against CASA and EASA Part 145 regulations.
- Development and implementation of an independent quality and safety audit program.
- Development and management of staff induction, staff training plan, competency assessment program and company authorization management system to ensure all personnel comply with CASA and EASA Part 145 regulatory requirements.
- Development and delivery of training programs including continuation training programs.
- Act as a liaison with CASA and EASA on all matters pertaining to the continuation of the TP Aerospace Technics Pty Ltd Part 145 Approvals including the submission of the MOE and any associated revisions
- Management of the QA department, such as hiring, implementing disciplinary actions, salary adjustments, work assignments, approving and scheduling vacation.
- Management of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that they are able to meet the obligations of the MOE’s and the Part 145 AMC to the satisfaction of CASA and EASA and maintaining the expertise to do so.
- Development of strategic plans for the continuous improvement of Quality, Safety, Health & Safety and Environment, and promote aviation safety culture throughout TP Aerospace Technics Pty Ltd.

**YOUR PROFILE**
- You are acceptable to CASA and EASA via the Form 4 process and is expected, as a minimum, to have held an equivalent appropriate position under CASA and/or EASA Part 145.
- You hold a sound knowledge in quality management and safety management principles and practices.
- You have at least 2 years’ experience in Part 145 Quality Management and Safety Management Systems.
- You have qualifications in Management and Quality auditing, preferably Lead Auditor qualification with several years direct auditing experience in an aviation environment.
- You have a good understanding of Human Factors (HF) principles.
