We are a leading provider of cleaning services and are looking for a **strong team player** to join our national team in a Full Time and permanent **Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment Coordinator** position, based in Melbourne.

To be considered for this full time role you will be able to demonstrate that you are a **strong team player** with **excellent written and verbal communication, an ability to think creatively **and **identify and solve problems to ensure the safety and health of our team members. **You will be self motivated, driven to exceed targets, collaborative in your approach and ideally have previous experience in a cleaning environment.

Some of your key **HSQE Coordinator** responsibilities will include:

- Support the operations team and IMS Manager in meeting requirements of Cirka’s IMS including fostering a system approach to HSQE.
- Support the delivery of initiatives to promote a safety culture, identifying system improvements and providing advice and guidance to the business as required.
- Complete any associated administration, such as ensuring safety files on site and within the Cirka intranet.
- Schedule and complete internal site audits. Provide reports to managers detailing any corrective actions and improvements identified. Support the team to ensure corrective actions and improvements are implemented.
- Complete incident investigations related to HSQE matters as required or directed by the IMS Manager.
- Provide advice and guidance to site managers, supervisors and team members in the completion of hazard identification, risk assessments and incident investigations to determine root cause, contributing factors and corrective actions.
- Support site managers with any emergency response procedures, and testing emergency preparedness.
- Support the People & HSQE team in developing and delivering HSQE training including inductions, toolboxes and quarterly business briefings. Ensuring competency and training records are completed and assisting in determining training required to ensure competency to perform roles / tasks.
- Act as RTW Coordinator managing end to end injury management and WorkCover claim process with relevant state insurer. Supporting People & Culture Business Partner in preparing for conciliation process, common law claims etc.
- Liaise with injured workers, health professionals, employer, insurance agents, rehabilitation providers, operations/support personnel, legal providers and WHS as required.
- Any other duties or responsibilities as directed by the Managing Director / CEO or defined in the quality or other management systems.
