We are seeking an Injury Management Specialist looking for their next challenge who is motivated and strives to provide the highest quality of customer service to clients.

Working as an Injury Management Specialist, you will be a local resource working for one of our key accounts, an ASX listed, industry leading financial services company. You will be providing specialised, early intervention triage and claim support on a mix of physical and psychological claims nationally.

Day to day you will:

- Triage injuries and incidents as they occur to support employees access timely care and support;
- Effectively support and assist employees with work and non-work related injuries and conditions to recover at/return to work;
- Provide expert advice and guidance relating to workers compensation claims;
- Work with injured/ill employees, their manager, treating doctors and the insurer to achieve positive health outcomes;
- Manage referrals and action within required timeframes;
- Lodge claims and attend claim strategy reviews including THP & NTDs when required;
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement return to work plans; and
- Take the lead on national return to work and injury prevention initiatives.

**About You**:

- A commitment to supporting both physical and psychological wellbeing of employees
- Strong knowledge of physical and psychological injury management, workplace safety and workers compensation.
- An allied health qualification is preferred but not required: Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor or Registered Nurse (relevant registration required);
- Previous employer-based return to work experience, insurer claims management or occupational rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required;
- Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain);
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
- Able to prioritise tasks, provide timely care and excellent time management skills;
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving;
- Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach; and
- Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
