As a result of EnergyAustralia's ongoing evolution and desire to improve enterprise-wide Health Safety Security and Environment capability and performance, we are currently recruiting for a Workcover and Injury Management Advisor.

Reporting directly to the Corporate Health and Safety Leader, this strategic role has a proactive early intervention approach and involves case management and return to work planning for injured employees

**Making a Difference at EnergyAustralia**

Specific accountabilities and responsibilities will entail, but will not be limited to the following
- Be responsible for the management of worker’s compensation claims and case management of injured employees with an early intervention focus.
- It has both a claims management focus which will involve processing of workcover claims and ensuring compliance with our legal obligations.
- An end-to-end role so will also involve ongoing case management and return to work planning for injured employees and designing programs that support people remaining at work.
- Provides strategic advice to all levels of the organisation on Workers Compensation and injury management for work and non-work-related injuries.
- Support the injury management/ early intervention function at an Enterprise level across all EnergyAustralia sites and implementing consistent standards across these sites.

- Background in allied health with tertiary qualification in related field
- Proven experience in a similar national role with multi sites
- Confident providing training and presenting to various target audiences including Senior leadership within EnergyAustralia
- Managing a caseload of workcover claims and early intervention cases
- Experience as a Senior Case Manager, Return to Work Specialist, Injury Management Advisor/ Coordinator or Occupational Rehab Consultant, highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of relevant Worker’s Compensation legislation nationally
- Excellent communication skills, negotiation and influencing skills
- Able to build rapport, relationships and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Understand the drivers that impact Workcover Insurance Premiums
- Deliver great customer service
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Good report writing skills
