
Principal Probity Investigator

**As a Principal Probity Investigator, you will be involved in assessing the suitability of individuals and corporations associated with the Queensland liquor and gaming industries while providing a high level of client service, mentoring team members and providing advice to management about operational and policy issues. You will need to have strong communication, organisation and written skills, building capability of probity investigators and be focused on delivering outcomes in support of regulatory objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyse and interpret financial and legal agreements, arrangements, statements and reports, as well as legislation and policy, in a complex regulatory environment.
- Work independently and follow through on assignments with mínimal direction, while identifying more effective methods of work operation for management consideration.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including experience in making recommendations, preparing briefing notes and correspondence for the
consideration of the Commissioner of Liquor and Gaming and the Minister.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate issues that arise in a complex regulatory environment and generate solutions for recommendation to management.
- Demonstrated ability to work in high performing and collaborative team environment, including being highly motivated to deliver outcomes in line with
regulatory objectives and being receptive to diverse perspectives.
- Demonstrated ability in building the capability of investigators to deliver timely, effective, quality client service and high-quality investigations, or similar comparable experience.
- While there are no mandatory qualifications required for this role, a qualification in law or commerce related disciplines is considered highly desirable. Working knowledge of the conduct of complex probity investigations is desirable.
