**Two Positions Available**
You will work within a specialised team within Ethical Standards Command to provide high level advice and investigation into corrupt conduct, ethical awareness and misconduct matters relating to staff members employed by the Queensland Police Service.

**Your Key Accountabilities will include**:
Undertake action to resolve complex and sensitive complaints, issues and reports containing allegations of corrupt conduct, misconduct and serious misconduct, Code of Conduct breaches and maladministration in a timely, professional and efficient manner through investigation and other processes.Lead, manage and actively participate in complex investigations and reviews.Prepare and provide authoritative, strategic and operational advice on misconduct matters, including the provision of both written and oral advice.Provide high level interface with the Public Service Commission and provide representation at meetings.Monitor the implementation of recommendations and appraise the adequacy of the corrective action undertaken to improve systems and procedures.Monitor investigation and misconduct data to identify trends and issues and report on assessments.Provide high level advice on key conduct investigation processes, complaints management and compliance to support planning for risk identification, reporting and escalation.Participate in the development of strategic, innovative and proactive policies related to staff misconduct and ethical decision making and make recommendations for procedural or policy reforms.Communicate, consult, negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders to ensure consideration of issues and delivery of positive outcomes for the department.
