Key Outcomes and Accountabilities
Utilise contemporary, best practice investigative methodologies to conduct timely and reliable investigations in relation to complex and sensitive allegations of corrupt conduct as defined under the Crime and Corruption Act 2001, as well as allegations of staff misconduct that fall within the scope of the Public Service Commission's (PSC) Conduct and Performance Excellence (CaPE) framework.
Manage an investigative work load and undertake and lead investigations and produce and prioritise high quality, reliable, detailed and timely investigation reports which contain well developed and logical conclusions.
Contribute to the reduction in instances of corrupt conduct and misconduct by critically assessing the circumstances surrounding identified corrupt conduct and misconduct, to identify deficiencies in process, procedure or systems and develop realistic, value adding systemic recommendations.

Mandatory Requirements
Professional certifications (e.g., Certificate IV Government Investigations, Diploma Management, Human Resources or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Extensive experience in an Ethical Standards/Integrity role preferably within a government or regulated industry context.
Extensive experience employing highly developed investigative skills and an advanced knowledge of contemporary best practice investigative methodologies.
Demonstrated experience to undertake objective, systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence. You recognise the links between interconnected issues. You identify problems and work to resolve them. You think laterally, identify, implement, and promote improved work practices.
Proven capability to monitor project progress, adjust plans as required and see projects through to completion. You commit to achieving quality outcomes and adhere to documentation procedures. You seek feedback from your supervisor to gauge satisfaction.
