**About the role**

Located in the Australian head office and as the Supply Chain Specialist, you will be involved with all the touch points across the organisation, from identifying product and materials through to organising quotations, liaising with local and international suppliers, coordinating freight and transport, managing the master data, MRP and ERP systems, maintaining min/max stock levels, source products, interacting with national sales and operations staff. This is an autonomous and blended role, with a balance of administrative and practical duties in the warehouse and stores area.

**Duties**
- Maintain supply levels form a range of local and international suppliers
- Coordinate local and international freight
- Review and confirm customer orders
- Source materials and products for in house manufacturing
- Maintain all appropriate data entry requirements
- Liaise with National sale staff on stock requirements
- Conduct rolling cycle counts for a minimum of 45,000 SKU’s
- Observe and develop process improvements

**Skills and Experience**
- A demonstrated background in the industrial stores or warehouse environment is needed
- An understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, or engineered industrial products would be preferable
- A sound understanding of ERP, MRP, Master date, Excell and Microsoft products is required
- A structured multi-tasking approach with sound verbal and written communication skills is necessary
- An understanding or exposure to international trade would be advantageous
- The ability to interpret general designs and drawings would bean an advantage
