Opportunities
We are seeking two highly experienced Supply Chain professionals to join our Planning & Purchasing management team as a Procurement Coordinator. These roles are pivotal in executing existing programs and new business campaigns including land, air, sea and space, through providing supply chain expertise, guidance and leadership.
Residing within Supply Chain Management, the Planning & Purchasing team has accountability for providing the development and execution of supply chain demand management, inventory management, purchasing enabling business growth and sustainability. These strategic and tactical functions are delivered through; modelling, forecasting and supply chain planning, and inventory management. Additionally, we are also responsible for all purchasing activities in support of BDA programs incorporating BDA & Boeing Australia Holdings (BAH).
The Procurement Coordinator is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to lead a team of purchasing specialists in executing daily activities encompassing; Purchase Orders, RFx and reconciliation within our programs and the broader BDA/ BAH organization. This is a critical role ensuring our programs continue deliver to plan. This role is based in Brisbane.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and contribute to the open, inclusive and innovative team culture
- Undertake benchmarking activities to ensure value for money is obtain through purchasing practices
- Conduct strategic workforce planning including the provision of resources to meet multiple project demands
- Enable collaboration across programs to identify and leverage commonalities, innovation and efficiencies
- Drive continuous improvement by communication and deploying enterprise best practices and employee engagement to improve costs, quality, delivery, employee satisfaction, and customer satisfaction.

Experience/Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of supply chain structures, processes and procurement requirements in a commercial environment
- 8 or more years' related experience in Inventory planning and/or purchasing roles, with at least 2 years within a coordinator role desirable
- Systems Knowledge and Experience including proficiency with ERP purchasing and demand planning systems to perform purchasing functions and extract historical data.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
- An entrepreneurial spirit looking to make a difference in a rewarding sector
