Cabinet and Parliamentary Services Team provides proactive advice and streamlined services to the Secretary of the Department of Customer Service and the Ministers who DCS supports on all Cabinet, Parliamentary and Ministerial matters.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive team passionate about providing accurate and timely strategic policy advice for the Department.

**In this role you will**:

- Be part of a team providing high level advice and support to the executives, Secretary and the Ministers.
- Contribute to delivery of Cabinet outcomes and ensure delivery of high-quality coordination, analysis and advice.
- Provide corporate support in the development and delivery of broader policy or project initiatives.
- Help train departmental staff in understanding relevant context and processes.

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to provide accurate, clear and comprehensive advice in short time frames
- Proven experience liaising and consulting with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly tuned review and analysis skills to develop and implement practical solutions to complex matters
- High attention to detail, well-developed organisational skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure, high-volume environment with tight deadlines to manage rapidly changing priorities and conflicting perspectives
- Passion, enthusiasm, resilience, and energy to thrive in an agile and adaptive environment
