Your new role

As an APS6 Classification Officer, you'll support the development and refinement of healthcare classification systems that help determine how services are funded. You'll work closely with data, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure everything runs smoothly and effectively.

In this role, you'll:

  • Assist with developing and refining healthcare classifications
  • Interpret and communicate data and metadata
  • Support project and program delivery
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to reports, research, and planning activities

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in program or project support
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Knowledge of health policy or health information management (desirable)
  • Australian citizenship (required)
  • Ability to pass standard pre-employment checks
