**About the Team**

The Supply Program Manager - Weapons and Ammunition Division (SPM - WA) is a key leadership position within the division program delivery team. Reporting directly to the Program Director - Weapons and Ammunition Division with responsibility for coordination with project managers, procurement, subcontracts, logistics, warehouse and external Supply Chain partners. The SPM - WA is directly responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of all external partnerships and procurement activities across the division. The Division production and Supply Chain supporting functions are principally based at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Redbank.

**About the Role**

The Supply Program Manager (SPM) is responsible for developing the strategy, leading the procurement and the delivery of all aspects of externally sourced projects and products for the Weapons and Ammunition Division.

Reporting the Program Director - Weapons and Ammunition the SPM is a direct member of the division program leadership team, engages broadly with and provides program specific direction to the supply chain supporting functional departments including commercial, export control, procurement, logistics and warehouse.

The SPM will be responsible for defining, leading and reporting each projects procurement strategy, KPIs, risks, issues and opportunities.

The duties of a Supply Program Manager include but are not limited to:

- **Supply Chain Management**: Developing, managing, and optimizing each project supply chain including AIC objectives to ensure efficient, timely and cost-effective procurement, material development and production and delivery;
- **Delivery and Reporting**: Ownership of supply program progress toward delivery and reporting on supply chain performance, measuring key metrics, risk issue and opportunities for improvement. By effectively managing these areas, a supply program manager helps ensure that a division’s supply chain is robust, efficient, and aligned with project and strategic goals;
- **Supplier Relationship Management**: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality materials and services are delivered on-time, issues and opportunities identified early and collaboratively resolved;
- **Risk Management**: Assessing and mitigating risks in the supply chain to avoid disruptions and ensure continuity of operations;
- **Budget Management**: Preparing estimates and managing programs to budgets for supply chain delivery;
- **Compliance**: Ensuring that all supply chain activities comply with corporate procurement and supply chain policy, relevant laws, regulations, and standards;
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Working closely with other departments, such as procurement, production, sales, and finance, to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives; and
- **Data Analysis**: Utilizing data and analytics to monitor performance, forecast demand, and enable program delivery.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Law and/or business commerce;
- 5+ years’ experience implementing a variety of complex technical projects and/or procurement contracts;
- Experience in procurement function either as SPM or commodity buyer;
- Proactive attitude - a problem-solver;
- A people person, highly effective communications and team-building skills;
- Proven superior written and verbal communication skills; and
- Australian Citizen with the ability to attain a security clearance.
