Due to consistent growth, this well-known and trusted multinational brand is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Representative, based in Melbourne to join their team. Manufacturing a range of products and solutions for the industrial, water, air movement and general manufacturing industries, this organisation has become a trusted supplier, known for their quality range of products and customer focused approach to business.

**The position**
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor your role will be to deliver exceptional levels of service to our customers both internal and external.

The role will require your technical competence matched with customer service skills. You will need to be an excellent communicator, organised and have the ability to prioritize and consistently exceed our customer expectations.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
- Communicating with customers through various channels with technical and general enquiries.
- Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
- Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
- Keeping records of and following up on customer interactions, quotes, inquiries, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
- Upselling products and services.
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.

**To be successful in this role you must have**:

- Strong Electrical or Mechanical knowledge, power transmission background is preferred but essential.
- Proven customer support experience with an affinity for dealing with technical inquiries and solution selling.
- Previous experience in a related customer service/internal sales position.
- Experience with CRM systems and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
