Join RCT's Group Supply Chain team as a Logistics Specialist, making a significant impact on our global operations.

This full-time, permanent position is based at our global headquarters in Kewdale, Western Australia.

Reporting to the Group Supply Chain Manager, this position will be responsible for managing and overseeing the global/local logistics/ shipping operations for all of Epiroc/ RCT shared divisions. You'll collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products locally and worldwide. This position is ideal for a proactive Logistics professional with extensive global shipping knowledge who seeking a new opportunity.

**Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following**:

- Schedule/actively manage all import and export shipments and documentation via air, sea and land.
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure goods are received within agreed timelines
- Co-ordinating inter-warehouse transfers
- Assist with inventory control
- Monitor transportation performance with effective KPIs.
- Ensures compliance with RCT’s SH&E and Procurement policy and governance.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the global supply chain.
- Manage and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including customs/duties, import/export laws, HS codes and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and process required shipping documentation for Import and Export.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and adjust logistics practices accordingly.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Complete PRONTO data input (new items),etc, maintenance and data integrity.
- Review documentation and calculations for international import freight prior to Goods Receipt processing.
- Other Duties as required.

**To be considered for this position you must have the following attributes**:

- Relevant Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business or Management
- Demonstrated experience in logistics/shipping both locally and internationally within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years experience in logistics/shipping or associated disciplines
- Previous logistics & coordination experience within a fast-paced environment will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of “Chain of Responsibility” and Transport Regulations.
- Export/Import, air/sea freight and global freight practices experience.
- Solution-based thinking, ability to problem solve quickly and efficiently.
- Understanding of the transport/logistics industry.
- Proven ability to plan, organise, monitor, and adapt processes to support improvement strategies.
- High level of computer and system knowledge including Pronto
- Computer literate and skills in the use of ERP and MS Office software
- Excellent interpersonal skills to achieve effective logistics practices.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance, with a demonstrated ability to enforce protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness.
- The Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and highly accurate
