Our Commercial Banking teams are proud to support a range of medium to large sized businesses across Australia. Our advanced technology solutions allow our people to provide invaluable support to our clients as we help them lead their businesses into the future.
Our team is committed to understanding our clients, and delivering insights and creative solutions to drive sustainable business growth. You will lead a team who have a diverse mix of experience, collaborate well and hold our clients at the centre of everything they do.
The Executive Manager plays a key role in being an expert across business banking, credit, risk and continuous improvement and will lead our team to meet their potential whilst delivering successful client outcomes.
Your team will be made up of Relationship Executives, the Team Manager and the Analyst support team and will support businesses that turnover between $3m - $30m or $1m - $10m in commercial lending and delivering on a range of needs and requirements, including transactional banking, commercial lending, working capital finance, asset finance and risk management.

Using your ability to coach, mentor and engage both your team and our clients, you will focus on growing quality business across diverse business markets. You will work with a strong performing team with excellent growth potential and will have oversight across our thriving and diverse customer base.
**More specifically, you will**:
- Lead and manage our Commercial Banking team in Docklands
- Utilise your industry expertise to understand and identify key opportunities within an ever-changing commercial landscape, and develop strategies accordingly
- Coach and mentor a team and support ongoing development, maintain and develop a high performance culture
- Build strong relationships with clients and support your people’s ability to retain their business through excellent client service
- Have an in depth understanding of complex client needs and develop key internal relationships to maximise opportunities to deliver a broad range of financial solutions
- Drive deal execution with proven skills in origination, structuring and negotiation of complex solutions
- Continue to build your profile and presence on behalf of CommBank across Melbourne for our small to medium Commercial Banking clients
**We want to hear from you if you have**:
- Demonstrated people management - Coach a team to develop uncommon customer focus, risk & credit skills and capabilities
- A real passion to lead and further develop a skilled team
- Exceptional commercial acumen and credit understanding
- Leadership capability and a strong risk management focus
- A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded
