You'll onboard and manage strategic corporate partnerships adding value to employees and members via financial education, convenience and banking solutions. Strong partner engagement and quality onsite and virtual events will result in new customer acquisition into the Westpac Group via the 1st Party proprietary channel.

Working closely with the National Manager - Employee First and Corporate Partners, and Corporate Partner Managers across the country you will collaborate and collectively acquire new partners, execute on the agreed engagement plans and maintain fantastic relationships that yield the opportunity to help customers and further grow our network.

A proactive approach to your own and subscribed business networking activities to identify new partner opportunities will be important. You will be tasked with building strong relationships as a trusted partner whilst strengthening your connection with our internal stakeholders.

As well as leading the identification, assessment, and execution of acquisition/partnership opportunities for the business, this role will play an active part in shaping the business strategy via collaborating with internal stakeholders and having direct engagement with external corporate partners. This role is expected to be proactive and hands on working with teams across the business including to coach bankers and facilitate ongoing corporate partnership engagement.

At the end of the day, it's that passion for people that'll really help you succeed and a drive to help our business

**What do I need?**
Ability to attract new business opportunities and relationship management are a must-have. A strong customer centric banking background and particularly in Mortgage Lending is highly regarded - as you'll be using those to grow our 1st Party Mortgage and empower the broader team to grow and drive partnership value. You'll know how to tap into new business opportunities in your networks with competencies to develop strategies and calling plans to deliver sustainable outcomes. Presenting and communicating directly to a decision maker at the senior executive levels (CEO, CFO, Head of HR/Benefits) of an organisation will not be foreign to you as you strive for results through excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills. Having the versatility to present to large groups onsite or through virtual methods, you can engage and influence the target audience with ease.
