Talent Advisor - Local Council - Hurstville Region - 12 months - $50ph + Super

**Your new company**
Your new company is a Local Council located in the Hurstville Region. The Council Chambers are close to public transport and shops.

**Your new role**
As a Talent Partner you will be working in the People and Culture Team. The purpose of the role is the development, implementation and review of talent sourcing and best practice recruitment strategies as well as coordination and administration of the end to end recruitment process.

Accountabilities:

- partnering with HM to undertake job design review and draft position descriptions
- development of strategic advertising and recruitment campaigns
- partnering with HM for the coordination and administration of screening, shortlisting and the interview process, including reference checking and offer management
- actively develop and promote Council's Employer Value Proposition
- develop, implement and promote best practice policies and procedures
- coach and provide support and guidance to people leaders, hiring managers and other stakeholders to drive capacity and confidence in undertaking recruitment activities

**What you'll need to succeed**
- relevant experience in a similar position as Talent Advisor for a large, complex organisation
- excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- ability to work in a busy, high-volume recruitment environment
- demonstrated working knowledge of Talent Acquisition best practice and current market challenges and trends
- strong computer literacy, including MS Office
- Must be fully vaccinated (minimum 2 doses) against COVID-19
