This role plays a key part within our dynamic and fast paced Talent Acquisition team in delivering high-quality recruitment support and advice across our Department.
About the Role
As a trusted Talent Acquisition Advisor, you'll guide hiring managers through NSW Government Sector Employment (GSE) compliant recruitment strategies, prioritising non-advertised processes, ensuring smooth and effective outcomes for both managers and candidates. You'll be working across a high-volume recruitment portfolio, where your ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail, and deliver consistent, high-quality support will be key to your success.
You'll be joining a supportive and upbeat team that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and a good laugh along the way. We work hard, celebrate wins, and are passionate about creating positive experiences for candidates and hiring managers alike. About You
You're an experienced and adaptable talent acquisition advisor who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environments. You take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes, enjoy the momentum of quick wins, and are driven by a strong commitment to service excellence.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- High-volume recruitment experience – proven ability to manage multiple recruitment requests simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
- GSE expertise – sound knowledge of NSW Government Sector Employment rules and guidelines (highly desirable)
- Attention to detail – a meticulous approach to documentation, compliance, and candidate communications
- Customer focus – a commitment to delivering positive experiences for hiring managers and candidates alike
- Self-sufficiency – able to work with minimal direction, take initiative, and manage competing priorities effectively
- Team collaboration – a positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive, high-performing team
