Proclinical has partnered with a global transport and logistics business, that caters to clients in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical industry, providing specialise time, temperature and security sensitive transport and logistics services to over 100 countries. They are currently seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual to join their team in the position of Dispatch Coordinator at their Tullamarine facility.

**About the Role**
The Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for receiving orders and organising resources for the delivery of freight, ensuring freight is safely loaded and documented before shipment. Key responsibilities are;
- Processing outbound orders through the companies dispatch software.
- Labelling and handling freight in preparation for air and road transport.
- Dispatch product movements with professional efficiency.
- Freight scanning.
- Ensuring timely dispatch of freights.
- Stacking and wrapping pallets.
- Creating air and road consignment notes (computer and manual).
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers.
- Prepare daily work and run schedules.
- Informing drivers of any traffic problems or hazards that may impact the delivery of consignments.
- Monitoring drivers daily logs for errors or violations and monitor drivers working hours and equipment availability.

Standard work week is Sunday to Thursday, 12noon to 8pm.

**Skills and Experience**
To be considered for this position you will need excellent communication interpersonal, judgement skills and ability to prioritise tasks, as well as in-depth knowledge of Melbourne geography for routing of drivers. Along with the following;
- Current Forklift Licence or willing to obtain one.
- Basic level of numeracy, verbal and literacy skills.
- Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to use sound judgement.
- Working well with external and internal stakeholders.
- Minimum 2-3 years warehouse experience (preferred).
- Certificate I-II in Warehousing & Distribution (advantageous).
- Experience in 3PL warehouse and freight forwarding (advantageous).
- IATA DG Certification (desirable).
- Experience in Supply Master and OBS Operating system.
- Knowledge of the Life Science industry (advantageous).
