About the role

We are looking for someone to fill this position who will safely and effectively maintain GE Equipment assets through day-to-day leadership of individual maintenance team ensuring OEM and legislative standards are met. They will work with the Manager to achieve optimum fleet availability and utilisation through team training, efficiencies and planning.

Role responsibilities- People management and communication - Lead, promote and maintain clear ethical communications between all parties.- Continual improvement of workplace safety processes through gap analysis and resolution of identified shortfalls.- Build a comprehensive understanding of statutory requirements including but not limited to DG road transport requirements, DPI, MRD, Worksafe & DMP (Dangerous Goods).- Lead, assist & train in diagnosing faults safely, competently and efficiently in a timely manner.- Liaise & work collaboratively with opposite shifts & operations teams to effectively deliver maintenance outputs & strategies using effective handovers- Ensure the work group functions effectively and team members are trained and developed.- Ensure IPEC Global Equipment standards are met on a daily basis in the triage and close out of Work Requisition Process- Conduct regular toolbox meetings and facilitate health, safety and environmental initiatives.- Ensure compliance with the maintenance plan.

About you- Experience in heavy transport industry working with OEM’s- Ability to manage and lead team outcomes as required.- Experience within a Supervisor or Management role- Ability to commit to shift hours Monday to Friday; 6am to 4:30pm- Punctual and reliable.- Self-starter and ability to meet planned and strategic commitments.

**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary/T.A.F.E.: Appropriate trade qualification - Cert 3 Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent)- Licences: DGSC, Minimum HR licence

Hourly Rate: $48.81ph; Equivalent to $126,906 salary package.
