Service Stream's Utilities Division are currently seeking multiple Wireless Rigger Team Leads to join our team on a permanent or casual basis.
About the Role
- Service Stream's Utilities Division are currently seeking multiple Wireless Rigger Team Leads to join our team on a permanent or casual basis.
- In this role, you will be responsible for the wireless rigging activities of telecommunication sites to carrier specifications and Service Stream processes and procedures. Including Safety, Quality and Program Delivery.
- Key Responsibilities
- Perform rigging activities on telecommunication sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
- Install antennas, feeders, cable trays, and other equipment on mobile phone base station structures.
- Conduct antenna sweeps and align microwave links to meet specifications.
- Inspect and maintain equipment, tools, and plant.
- Collaborate with team members and project personnel to ensure efficient operations.
- Safely work at heights, including climbing poles, towers, and masts up to 220m in height.
- Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability.
- Select and use appropriate rigging equipment, such as cables, pulleys, and winches.
- Participate in safety initiatives, actively promoting and adhering to safe work practices.
- Maintain daily records of activities and times for accurate reporting.
- About You
- High Risk Work License, Basic/Intermediate/Advanced Riggers Ticket, and Dogman certification.
- White Card, Tower Rescue, Senior First Aid, and Construction Industry Induction certifications.
- Familiarity with WHS requirements for high-risk activities.
- Safe Work at Heights certification and medical clearance for work at heights.
- C class driver's license.
- 2+ years of experience in 3G, 4G, or 5G mobile network rollouts in Australia.
- Strong fault analysis and diagnostic skills.
- Familiarity with installation standards in telecommunications.
- RF and Fibre Cable Testing skills (preferred).
- Physical capability to work at heights and climb towers.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
