**Job Description**:
**Key Responsibilities of the role**:

- Manage our team of maintenance personnel to encourage and deliver a highly effective service which supports the manufacturing operation.
- Provide day-to-day operational leadership for trades personnel, ensuring effective communication is maintained
- Lead and drive safe working attitudes and behaviours
- Promote an open, flexible work environment while complying with all company policies and procedures
- Drive performance, accountability and engagement within the Maintenance Department with a key focus on building capability
- Ensure food safety and quality requirements are adhered to
- Deliver R&M costs to budgeted figures
- Support best practice asset Reliability Systems and support to the Maintenance Team.
- Implement continuous improvement through a CI programme including RCAs
- Support production and site activities to optimise productivity and minimise downtime
- Plan maintenance work to align with plant and resource availability

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in the role, you will have**:

- Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar role or can demonstrate possessing the capacity to operate at that level.
- Mechanical, electrical trade or engineering background
- Exceptional leadership skills
- An ability to build effective internal and external working relationships at all levels
- Strong safety mindset in all facets of work
- Analytical capability and an ability to effectively problem solve
