**About the role**

Reporting directly to the Training Manager and leading a Team this role is responsible to act to drive and support the MinRes Group centralised Training Department. As head of this Team you will deliver fit-for-purpose highly effective Training Products and Innovation to create outcomes for every Min Res person from Pathway Programs, Job? Task essentials and upskill frameworks. All with the necessary governance, risk mitigation, and overall performance that is required for this organisation and its diverse needs.

In this position you are:

- To continue the development, improvement, and implementation of Training, Learning and Assessment capability across Min Res
- To foster creative, interactive and innovative Training and Assessment products, particularly in the e-learning space, across Min Res
- To ensure that MRL Training systems and practices remain legally compliant, meet the needs of our people, and the business whilst striving to leading practice
- To work across the organisation with various stakeholder and leadership levels, to consult and provide training and assessment solutions through technology and innovation
- To have demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes across multiple industry sectors and diverse work groups across multiple locations
- Ensure continued development of the training system, including the incorporation of technology, to meet changing market needs

**Necessary skills and qualifications**:

- Certificate IV Training and Assessment

And at least one of the following:

- AQF Level 5 or higher in VET, training or similar
- AQF Level 5 or higher in Design, Technology, Art or Graphics to be held in high regard
- VET compliance experience, project rollout of systems experience & E-Learning production or design experience
