Help us to make this a reality for thousands of kids each year by joining the Land’s Edge team as our _Guest Services Coordinator_ This is not your typical hospitality role - picture yourself spending your lunch breaks swimming in the picturesque Chowder Bay only 250 metres from the Harbour Lodge This would be perfect for a university student or a parent looking for flexible working hours.

LEF is seeking _Guest Services Coordinators_ to join our Chowder Bay accommodation team on a part-time or casual basis. The Harbour Lodge is a 75-bed accommodation facility located in the unique and historic precinct of Chowder Bay, on the outskirts of the iconic Sydney Harbour. The Harbour Lodge offers accommodation to any organised group, the majority of whom are school groups.

This position is very hands-on and oversees the coordination of the accommodation facility pre, post and during the client’s stay in the building. This job would be suited to an outgoing and highly-organised hospitality professional who is passionate about ensuring the client’s stay is seamless by overseeing a variety of areas of their stay including but not limited to:

- Being the point of contact for the group including arrival/departure briefings
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the Lodge
- Setting out linen
- Basic food preparation, serving of meals and assisting with washing dishes
- Coordination with suppliers (eg. cleaners, linen, external caterers, maintenance)
- Completing regular stock takes and maintenance checks. Reordering of supplies (eg. linen, food, cleaning supplies)

The responsibilities of this role will be shared between 2-3 individuals and requires flexibility across a seven day roster, with shifts predominantly based around breakfast (6am - 11am), dinner (5pm - 9pm) and client arrival times (12pm - 9pm).
- NSW Working with Children Check _(or willing to obtain)_
- First Aid and CPR qualification _(or willing to obtain)_
- Current Driver’s License
- Safe Food Handling Certificate _(or willing to obtain)_
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including fluency in English and relatable with both children and adults
- Flexibility in weekly work schedule; some weekends and public holidays are required
- High standard of customer service including handling complaints

**Desirable criteria**:

- Experience in basic food preparation and cleaning duties _(housekeeping experience desirable)_
- Experience in handling emergency situations eg. fire evacuations as the Warden
- Experience and/or interest in the hospitality and/or accommodation industry
- Experience and/or interest in the outdoor industry, education or administration
