The role Reporting to the Director Program Performance, you will be responsible for the governance structure and best practice models to support transparent and effective decision-making of the project teams overssing the delivery of the Queensland Health capital program. You will develop and implement strategies and policies to improve compliance management and integrated governance practices to ensure the program meets legislative, policy and strategic obligations. The role will involve preparing high quality briefing papers and reports on the status of activities across the program, creating meeting agendas, writing meeting minutes, documenting decisions, coordinating the distribution of minutes, actions and follow up on action items. You will provide support and expertise for high-quality governance and reporting on program and projects which ultimately support the successful on-time, on-budget delivery needs of the decision-making bodies in relation to the projects.

The Health Capital Division (HCD) works with the Hospital and Health Services (HHSs), the Department of Health, other government agencies and the construction sector to achieve value for money infrastructure outcomes. This includes all capital planning, business cases, construction and maintenance programs, whilst managing these through government processes for Queensland Health in partnership with HHSs.
