The Portfolio Governance Officer plays a critical role in leading the execution of QRA portfolio governance activities and the master schedule:

- Lead the refinement and maintenance of governance frameworks for the QRA funding portfolio.
- Lead the refinement and maintenance of systems and processes to govern the QRA funding portfolio, coordinated with key stakeholders and other internal change activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to portfolio performance and processes, ensuring maximum transparency and accessibility across QRA.
- Support regular briefings and updates on the performance of the QRA funding portfolio.
- Manage the execution of key portfolio governance activities (reviews / meetings / reports).
- Develop, maintain the QRA internal master schedule, using appropriate scheduling tools and software, and overseeing the completion of key milestones within the agency.
- Conduct regular assurance reviews of project and program milestones to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- As required, investigate project performance to ensure visibility for the Portfolio Director and QRA ELT.
- Identify and address any scheduling-related risks or issues that may impact governance or compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimisation in governance practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
