Principal Governance Officer

As a Principal Governance Officer, you will actively participate in the implementation of governance and compliance improvements through drafting policies and working with stakeholders to embed improvements into processes and controls. You will provide expert advice and support to key stakeholders on development and implementation of organisational performance practices. Additionally, you will manage and coordinate department-wide governance enhancement projects.

Role fit:

  • Demonstrated high level corporate governance experience and knowledge, preferably in relation to legislative compliance, policy development, and program management.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication, influencing and problem-solving skills with the ability to negotiate and assert yourself while developing productive and positive partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to achieve improvements in governance, and corporate efficiency.
