**What you'll be doing**

This is a rare leadership opportunity for a Nurse Unit Manager to have a wider impact in the community and into the greater Central Coast area. This role will see you taking responsibility for the environment and standards of patient care within your unit. The Nursing Manager is responsible for the coordination of patient services, unit management and nursing staff management within the Kullaroo Clinic consistent with the strategic directions of Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD).

The NUM takes overall responsibility for the health care environment and standard of patient care. As the registered nurse in charge of the ward/unit, the Nurse Manager performs as a clinical leader and manager with accountability for culture, quality and safety, patient flow, financial management, change management and the experience of patients in that ward/unit.
