**Overview of the role**

As Commercial Leader you will be part of Suncorp’s Partnering Program where you will execute on key strategic negotiations and construct commercially viable contracts working in conjunction with Group Legal and Group Procurement.

You will be responsible for ensuring industry best practices and that regulatory and legal requirements are adhered to through the commercial contracts, acting as a trusted advisor for business functions and strategic Partners.

This 6-month fixed term contract is a unique opportunity to join a leading Australian Insurer invested in the changing digital and environmental landscape.

**What you’ll do**:
Commercial Management:

- Manage and maintain all Business Partnering commercial activities, engage with necessary teams to manage agreed Partner rates.
- Manage operational and strategic commercial instruments
- MSA, Pricing Deed/ Rate Cards, SOWs and CRs
- overseeing content to ensure adherence to MSA Ts&Cs and that there is no compliance or regulatory breaches.
- Oversight of the commercial portfolio across the Business Process Outsourcing and Robotics engagements across the Group.
- Provide advice and support to the partnered functions including operational negotiation, arbitration services, contract interpretation and managing tier 1 escalations.
- Provide data driven information to assist the Leadership team to help with their discussions and negotiations with Partners and the business to facilitate outcome based contractual opportunities.

Compliance to Policies and Procedures:

- Take accountability for efficiently managing all commercial and contractual pipeline of work from existing and upcoming partnering engagements and managing changes in line with Regulatory and Legislative requirements
- Participate in Partner negotiations driven by contractual, commercial and compliance specific requirements such as annual rate card reviews, contractual variations and renewals.
- Be accountable for contract execution processes; manage and maintain the structured review and sign off process

**What you’ll bring**:

- 3 to 5 years’ appropriate industry experience in Financial Services (essential)
- Min. 2-3 years’ Partnering experience (essential)
- Certification in Commercial/ Contractual Management is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills to achieve the best outcome for projects
- Ability to manage several projects concurrently
- Flexible mindset, process driven and the ability to work in a complex environment
