**Your new company**

This consulting firm is known for their high level of delivery standard within Defence and broader Commonwealth Government. Having undergone considerable growth in the last 12 months, they are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join their Defence consulting team working across the aviation space.

**Your new role**

This Commercial Manager role will be providing commercial guidance and direction to the business. Working within this dynamic and expanding industry leader will give you the opportunity to manage an existing Defence contract.

You will be responsible for project compliance with the contract, Australian and foreign government requirements for the management of technology, intellectual property, and confidential data. Contributing to phase and contract status reviews will be a challenging part of this position. You will have experience liaising strategically with all levels of stakeholders including Project Managers, Engineering, Internal and External Customers including the Department of Defence.

Specific duties will include
- Management of the contract
- Contract change proposals
- Export controls
- Tech data
- Intellectual Property, governance and assurance activities and commercial correspondence under the contract.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience working with ASDEFCON
- Experience in the management of contract frameworks in the Government and Defence markets
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Currently have NV1 clearance
