**About the Role**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trainer & Assessor to deliver and assess the Certificate III in Driving Operations (TLI31222). The capability to deliver the Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations is highly regarded, but not essential.
In this role, you will provide engaging, compliant, and industry-relevant training primarily in workplace-based settings. You will play a vital role in guiding and supporting learners to successfully achieve competency while ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver theory and practical training for Certificate III in Driving Operations
- Conduct assessments in line with the requirements of the TLI Training Package and RTO policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and documentation
- Support and mentor students throughout their learning journey
- Participate in validation and continuous improvement activities
- Conduct workplace visits and practical assessment
- Deliver competency-based training in line with national training packages
- Engage with clients professionally and represent JKR with integrity.
- Deliver practical training aligned with NHVR and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance
**Essential Criteria**:
- Current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
- Relevant vocational competencies
- Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) requirements
- Current and valid heavy vehicle driver licence (MC or HC preferred)
- Demonstrated experience training in the Transport & Logistics industry
- Current industry experience in transport and logistics
- Knowledge of the TLI Training Package and VET sector compliance requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
**Desirable**:
- Experience training in heavy vehicle requirements
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Current industry contacts and networks
- Qualifications and/or delivery experience in Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations.
