- Your new role will see you ensure high-quality pricing and analysis is delivered to internal and external stakeholders, supporting effective management of nib Travel.
Additionally, you will also provide leadership and mentoring to direct reports in analyst roles, promoting excellence within the team and you will facilitate career development and progression through the actuarial qualification pathway.
Let’s talk about you- Demonstrated work experience in insurance with general insurance pricing experience desirable, especially in personal lines-
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline-
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, experience in tools such as R/Python/SQL/ Excel-
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for personal development as well as enabling team development-
- Advocate for best practices in general insurance pricing, actuarial analysis, automated portfolio monitoring and competitor price analysis- Let’s talk about working at nib
