Exciting new Aviation Marketing role at Melbourne Airport Look for a Senior Marketing professional to execute the marketing strategy and delivery of major campaigns for our Aviation business._**

**_ In the role of Marketing Business Partner, you will be key to the execution of B2B and B2C marketing campaigns, intended to drive business for Melbourne Airport. our role will be to develop and execute marketing campaigns and activations in Australia and overseas to promote new and existing airlines and destinations._**

Your role oversees the global promotion of Melbourne Airport’s airlines, routes, and destinations to maximize their efficiency and develop new market opportunities. The Aviation Business Development team leads the airport’s aviation development through attracting new international airlines to Melbourne, establishing services to new international destinations, and growing capacity on existing routes. Your role will be to develop and execute marketing campaigns and activations in Australia and overseas to promote new and existing airlines and destinations.

We are after a marketer who not only has a passion for travel and aviation but can also manage the partnerships aspect of the role, whilst having an exceptional track record in leading end-to-end marketing campaigns and knowing what channels will work to drive passenger demand.

As part of this role, you will be part of Melbourne Airport's central marketing team and support their objectives of maximizing value generation from assets and channels across the airport and globally establishing the Melbourne brand as Australia's Favourite Airport destination.

**In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to**
- Promote airlines, routes, and destinations in Australia and overseas to maximize their efficiency and develop key strategic markets for Melbourne which are currently underserved.
- Create, lead, and deliver innovative global marketing campaigns and activations to promote Melbourne's existing airlines and routes: Oversee a Marketing Specialist in managing and tracking all campaigns end-to-end, comprising all activities and relationships on
- and offshore.
- Develop creative concepts for joint global partnerships and manage relationships with the respective airlines, tourism & travel trade, airports, agencies, and other international industry partners; Negotiate and secure partnership funding and lead campaign execution.
- Consistently monitor and report on execution and expenditure, and track ROI to ensure timely adjustment of strategies and budgets.
- Assist in deciding on the allocation of the aviation marketing budget and marketing funds offered under airline incentives within the joint Melbourne/ Vic Government Aviation Attraction Fund (VAAF); Coordinate and manage all promotional activities on behalf of Melbourne
- Drive synergies and deliver concepts reflective of the Melbourne Airport's brand in areas such as, the execution of Melbourne-based campaign elements and events managed by our Melbourne Airport Events team (e.g. inaugural flight events), airline promotions across the precinct and Melbourne airport social channels, development of marketing plans across Melbourne Airport's advertising assets etc.
- Drive the creation of innovative concepts to maximise value generation of Melbourne Airport's assets and channels, such as joint affinity marketing to grow Melbourne's customer base.
- International and some domestic travel may be required.

**Your background should include**:

- A minimum of 5+ years of management experience in a strategic marketing and strategic partnership role, desirably in the aviation or travel trade industry
- Proven experience of developing and leading creative partnership campaigns across various target audiences that engage, educate, and motivate.
- Extensive experience in the digital space and a solid understanding of the Australian travel trade as well as international markets
- Experience and existing network with the Australian travel trade and a strong understanding of the aviation and tourism industry will be highly regarded.
- Experience in working cross-culturally with international stakeholders is desired.
