**About the Company**
This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 6-month contract paying $35/Hour + Super. This role is located in St Peters.

The Team you are joining is a high functioning and performing team amongst a leading NSW Government agency. A team of like-minded individuals who thrive to deliver outstanding work to help residents of NSW.
**About the Role**
**Key accountabilities include**:
- Deliver face-to-face support services across multiple sites.
- Handle job tickets from the helpdesk system, ensuring timely prioritization and resolution in accordance with the Support Policy.
- Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates on support tasks and seeking feedback before closing tickets.
- Record all support activities, including phone requests and site visits, in the helpdesk system.
- Train staff on computer software and hardware as needed.
- Escalate unresolved problems and requirements to appropriate teams and providers.
- Provide technical support to all staff.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
- Maintain and service hardware connected to the network.
- Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of a Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
- Fulfil any other duties as requested.
**About You**
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Independent problem-solving, self-directed but able to work well in a team.
- A broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies including installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking.
- Ability to escalate unresolved problems and requirements.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with minimum supervision.
