**About the Company**

Techist/DNS are a growing MSP that services NSW. Techist has been in business for 12 years and have seen a steady managed growth to where we are now.

**About the Role**

We are looking for a Level 1 onsite ICT Technician that will be a part of the larger ICT team responsible for supporting the everyday operation, set-up and maintenance of computer and network systems, and providing Level 1 troubleshooting.

We have a responsive organisational culture and, as such, the responsibilities within this role may be altered to adapt to the evolving needs of the role.

**Responsibilities**

**Service Desk and General Support Backup**
- Provide 1st level troubleshooting and escalation resolution (onsite or remote) within agreed timeframes and service levels
- General technical support for clients
- Provide support to clients in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues
- Maintenance and repair of digital devices
- Maintain peripheral equipment
- Create user documentation and manage ICT self-help tools
- Assist with general user account management
- Manage login usernames and passwords

**ICT Asset Management and Inventory**
- Import assets and maintain asset accuracy
- Upgrades
- General administration
- Licence renewals
- Troubleshooting and escalation of issues to service providers.

**ICT Infrastructure Support**
- Server maintenance including Windows and Linux based systems
- Creation and management of compute/storage including virtual machines through Microsoft Hyper-V
- Authentication platforms and SSO
- Ensure the highest levels of infrastructure availability
- Maintain the integrity of secure systems during the upgrade process (backup, patching)
- Complete routine and regular maintenance for the needed systems.

**Microsoft / Azure Cloud management**
- Microsoft Intune configuration and deployment
- Azure Active Directory management
- Microsoft 365 management.

**Other Duties**
- Annual digital device rollout and handback coordination
- Shared administration of various software
- Prepare and maintain technical, design and operational documentation.

**Desirable**

Experience in the following will be an advantage but not essential:

- JAMF
- Airwave
- Freshdesk

**Salary**: $48,000.68 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
