**About the role**:
Network Rail Consulting currently has a great opportunity for an experienced RAM Manager to join our growing team based in Sydney.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Establish and lead the RAM frameworks.
- Creation and updating of RAM Management Plans and any other documentation in line with program timescales and quality requirements.
- Act as the interface with clients on RAM and performance targets.
- Lead the Asset Management working group.
- Manage the provision of international RAM expertise provided by Network Rail, including their output quality and adherence to program timescales.
- Ensure all deliverables are created in line with the approved evidence-based framework, through selective sampling and auditing.
- Provide planning and execution of support services to other teams in ensuring that specialist advice is provided.

**Experience & Qualifications**:
Essential
- Degree qualified safety professional or equivalent demonstrable experience in system assurance or RAM.
- Working towards academic and professional recognition within a RAM domain.
- Prior experience in the rail industry.
- Strong background in signalling programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Strong stakeholder and interface management skills with the ability to build positive relationships across a diverse range of client stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise work and deliver to tight deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to promptly investigate safety related issues and recommend the implementation of corrective actions.

Desirable
- Experience in the implementation of modern signalling systems CBTC, ETCS.
- Demonstrable leadership and interpersonal skills appropriate to the position.
- Experience during the development and entry into service phase of new rail infrastructure.
- Affiliation with recognised professional body.
