We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to contribute to the expansion objectives of the Insurance Services Team. In this role, you'll provide technical support and advice to the team and the Risk Services field team, playing a pivotal role in obtaining insurance quotes, processing policies, and facilitating placements.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Join our esteemed client, a category leader in financial services, during their period of significant growth. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to contribute to the expansion objectives of the Insurance Services Team. In this role, you'll provide technical support and advice to the team and the Risk Services field team, playing a pivotal role in obtaining insurance quotes, processing policies, and facilitating placements.
**KEY DUTIES**:
Portfolio Management:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of retail and wholesale insurance risks, focusing on driving profitable growth and delivering consistent, professional advice.
- Swiftly respond to inquiries and requests from stakeholders, offering personalized assistance to clients and members regarding their insurance needs.
- Collaborate with Risk Account Managers (RAMs) to present recommendations and optimal solutions to clients.
- Implement general insurance policies based on RAMs' requests, staying proactive in identifying members requiring assistance.
Policy Renewal:
- Collaborate with RAMs, clients, and members to gather underwriting information, negotiating terms with underwriters.
- Obtain renewal instructions and payment details to finalize existing arrangements, ensuring timely completion.
- Prepare meticulous renewal documents and attach relevant specifications to proposals.
Claims:
- Act as the advocate for RAMs, clients, and members in the claims settlement process, ensuring swift and favorable outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive claim reports to the team and management as needed.
Business Development:
- Play a key role in retaining existing business while contributing to new business activities.
- Engage in client targeting, handle inquiries, conduct client visits, and partake in telephone prospecting.
- Collaborate with marketing and management to create impactful promotional materials.
Other:
- Provide mentorship and training to brokers.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration within the insurance market.
- Uphold work health and safety standards, adhering to corporate policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to our values and ethos.
- Undertake additional duties or projects as assigned.
**REQUIREMENTS AND IDEAL PROFILE**:
- Previous experience in commercial broking, preferably with SMEs.
- Established exposure to insurance or finance field is highly desirable.
- Tier 1 RG146 qualification (essential).
- Experience with iBais (desirable)
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
