**About the Role**
- Member of our Asphalt Paving team that contributes to the successful delivery of our projects
- Paving award rates governed by an EBA
- Ensure work sites are operated safely in accordance with Bitu-mill’s HSE&Q systems and Integrated Management System
- Operate various plant and equipment for the safe delivery of asphalt projects
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the team through role modelling and productive personal behaviour
- Contribute to toolbox meetings, risk assessments and capture of project-specific information

**About You**
- If new to the industry, have the energy, drive and enthusiasm;
- Likes people and builds relationships;
- Friendly and responsive with ‘can do’ / ‘problem solver’ approach to work;
- Calm in handling and resolving site challenges;
- Flexible, adaptable and open to new methods;
- Strong attention to detail and likes to get things right;
- Physically able to undertake the role - there will be a pre-employment medical.

**Requirements**:

- Asphalt experience (desirable, but not essential - training will be provided), able to operate a paver, roller, skid steer loader and heavy vehicles;
- Car licence, equipment competencies or licenses, and Construction Induction Card;
- Available to work 38 hours a week and overtime opportunities available;
- Beneficial: MR Truck license, Skid Steer Loader Licence
