An opportunity has arisen for a Civil/Directional Drilling Labourer to become part of a fantastic company in its Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Team.

While you don't necessarily need to have experience in the HDD industry, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn key HDD skills is imperative.

We offer an extensive training and development program that will assist with the successful candidate to learn and develop, while ensuring they feel comfortable and confident with the various HDD tasks required.  For the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, there is the opportunity for future progression.  

Main tasks include:

  • An integral team member of the HDD crew
  • Civil/Directional Drilling Labourer tasks including Excavation of holes, Asset Locating, NDD, general labouring tasks etc
  • Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on all equipment, including keeping plant and equipment clean and tidy
  • Ensure all required in field documentation is completed accurately
  • A strong focus on efficiency and quality of work
  • Adhere to OH&S policies and procedures and OH&S Standards
  • Adhere to Environmental policies and procedures and Environmental Standards
  • Able to follow instructions

Successful candidates will be / have:

  • White Card
  • Current HR / HC Truck Licence would be welcomed, but is not imperative
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Sound verbal and written skills / A good listener
  • Great work ethic
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Attention to detail
  • Be multi skilled
  • Team Player
  • Willing to live away when required

Hourly pay rate dependent on experience and knowledge
