This will see an ERP upgrade/replacement alongside a broader transformation initiative that incorporates business system rationalisation and business process transformation.

**About the role**

The Business Support Officer exercises initiative and judgment when setting priorities and managing workflows, and will have strong attention to detail. They will provide information and advice, respond to internal employee queries, prepare and deliver high-quality briefings and reports, and respond to ad hoc requests, often of a complex nature. They will work collaboratively with others to analyse and resolve ICT business management challenges.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Preparation of routine and ad-hoc reporting on financial, procurement and investment activities
- Conduct data analysis, identify and investigate issues with data, and cleanse and prepare data to support the Branch operations and sound decision-making
- Investigation, research, analysis, administrative and project support for the Business Manager, Investment Lead and the Office of the Chief Information Officer
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Branch dashboards
- Build and sustain effective stakeholder relationships to anticipate, analyse and support their needs
- Provide support for procurement activities for the ICT Branch
- Undertake financial and business analysis to support ICT investment decisions
- Provide support for the annual budget process
- Support contract management and identify business improvement opportunities

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will ideally have relevant experience and/or relevant qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field, as well as:

- Experience in budget preparation and management, cost management and reporting financial performance
- Experience in preparing, transforming and presentation of financial and other data for use in reporting and analysis
- Be a problem solver, self-motivated and have excellent planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrated experience with, or demonstrated capability to rapidly acquire capabilities in, Power BI, Excel, ServiceNow or other business intelligence and analysis platforms

This is a permanent Level 5 role with a salary package commencing at $86,974 to $90,727 plus superannuation of up to 12%.
