We are currently recruiting skilled and passionate Behaviour Support Practitioners for our team.

About the Role

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will:

- Undertake comprehensive functional behavioural assessments and develop individualised evidence-based intervention plans for clients utilising a Positive Behaviour Support framework.
- Deliver intervention programs in pursuit of clients’ goals, including skill development.
- Complete assessments of disability support needs.
- Monitor, evaluate and review individual intervention plans and programs against clients’ goals.
- Liaise with complex stakeholder groups and collaborate with external health practitioners. Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Write clinical reports and keep appropriate clinical records.
- Provide advice to clients and stakeholders about Restrictive Practices in accordance with the Disability Services Act 2006 and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (Restrictive Practices and Behaviour Support Rules) 2018.
- Participate in individual or group supervision, and contribute to peer consultations as requested.
- Deliver services in clients’ homes, community settings, and in the Behaviour Support and Training offices.
- Practice within the NDIS Practice Standards, and provide services within the parameters of individual _client_’s Service Agreement.
- Demonstrate commitment to building the capacity of individuals, or staff teams supporting individuals, with a disability
- Contribute to a fun, supportive, and innovative workplace.

Your caseload

About You

Highly desirable applicants will hold a growth mindset and be willing to develop their own, and others' abilities, and eager to consider innovative and creative alternatives to supporting our clients. They will also:

- Hold registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or professional registration with other relevant professional body
- Have previous experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support services
- Have a current NDIS Worker Screening _Check_
- Hold criminal history screening clearance to work with children and individual's with a disability
- Hold a current, unrestricted Driver's license.
