**About the opportunity**:
Property Services is responsible for the accurate invoicing and assessment of land tax and the Emergency Services Levy.
- Assessing exemptions and remissions;
- Carrying out detailed investigations relating to property data and ownership;
- Recognition of trust held land;
- Processing payment or financial data queries; and
- Identifying system data discrepancies and making appropriate corrections.

The Taxation Officer reports to a team leader or person in a similar position.

**About you**

To be successful you will be:

- able to process complex administrative tasks;
- skilled in carrying out detailed investigations relating to property data and ownership;
- strongly focused on attention to detail, particularly when data is incorrect and requires manual changes; and
- able to work independently, under limited direction.
