About the Role:

As our new Accountant, you'll be responsible for:

· Preparing financial statements, tax returns, FBT for business and individuals, and

other management reports.

· Assisting clients with business advisory and compliance needs.

· Providing administration support and statutory reporting for SMSF's.

· Assisting clients in their bookkeeping needs and requirements.

· Supporting internal process improvements and reporting.

· Liaising and communicating with and between ATO, auditors and financiers.

· Collaborating with a close-knit team on a wide range of industries and client types.

To be considered for this role you will possess:

· Bachelor degree / certificate in accounting (or working towards)

· CPA or CA desirable

· Strong technical taxation knowledge

· Previous experience in public practice environment.

· Recent experience in preparing tax returns, BAS and relevant ATO statutory reporting.

· Strong and clear communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.

· A proactive attitude and eagerness to grow.

· Adaptability and a problem solver.

· Familiarity with current taxation legislation.

· Solid understanding of accounting software (e.g, Handisoft, Xero, Class, MYOB etc.).

Salary:

Will be negotiable considering your experience.
