**About the role
**At Woolworths, we believe in putting our customers and team first. Reporting to the General Manager - Privacy, you will lead a team that leverages their expertise to ensure we have robust privacy and data ethics foundations, processes, technologies, and policies across Woolworths Group that build and maintain trust with our customers and team.
**What you’ll do
**In this role you will provide vision, leadership and deep expertise to (i) deliver uplift in our underlying policies, tools and processes to improve our PIA automation and monitoring and the way we communicate with our customers, (ii) provide reporting and actionable insights using both lead and lag indicators that gives the organisation a view of the ‘health’ of privacy at Woolworths, (iii) risk and incident management to ensure we’re operating within our risk appetite and have a clear and effective process in the event of incidents, (iv) lead our training and awareness programs, and (v) support and partner with the rest of the Privacy teams to help deliver within the business.
Your deep understanding of privacy laws, operations, governance and the ability to work closely with other teams across cyber, risk, and legal in a complex and agile business of Group-wide cross-functional teams will be vital in this role.
- You will be responsible for providing insights to stakeholders including committees, working groups and forums that will assist with key business decisions, and evolving the privacy and customer trust agenda to drive maturity in how we manage our operational privacy risks - including delivering on policies and procedures.
- Uplift underlying technology, tools, and processes to improve and automate our PIAs, simplify the way we talk to customers through our policies and the Woolworths Privacy Centre, and manage the privacy risk posture
- Drive and continuously improve privacy incident management processes in partnership with other members of your team and in collaboration with with legal, risk and cyberDrive and own our privacy risk framework, ensuring that all critical controls gap analyses are completed, there are pragmatic action plans in place, and partnering with the Privacy Business Partners to ensure those actions are appropriately prioritised within the relevant businesses
**What you’ll bring

- Horizontal Leadership - You will be a visible, energetic and collaborative leader and team player, able to create long-lasting relationships, with deep foundations. Through these relationships, others will be motivated to work closely with you and therefore contribute to the broader business. Through these interactions, you will express opinions and information with impact and credibility
- Deep mastery in privacy through bachelor’s degree in law, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field pertaining to privacy laws, risk and compliance coupled with extensive knowledge of privacy regulations, including industry standards and best practices for data protection and privacy complianceProven history of working in agile environment, with a track record of leading complex projects and working with a broad set of cross functional stakeholders
