We are seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Business Operations to join our dynamic team. In this critical leadership role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our core banking operations, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and a seamless member experience.

**About the role**
- You will directly lead and manage several teams crucial to the bank’s operations (including account servicing, collections & hardships, fraud operations, financial crime management & account fulfilment and become a trusted partner to the CIO and CEO as you share key metrics, reports, operational business plans and other information around the bank’s operational performance.
- Provide on-going mentoring, oversee professional development as well as assisting with the recruitment and the on-boarding/induction of new staff
- Developing and implementing strategies to optimise the bank’s operational efficiency. This involves streamlining processes, identifying areas for cost reduction, and leveraging technology to improve productivity.
- Manage operational budgets
- Identifying and mitigating operational risks within the bank including ensuring compliance with regulations, data security, and fraud prevention.
- Review all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure they are accurate and the basis for training for all staff in the department.
- You will play a critical role in ensuring efficient processes that contribute to a positive member experience.

**What are we looking for?**
- You are a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in banking operations including leadership roles, with a proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing teams across diverse operational functions (e.g., loan processing, fraud, collections & hardship, account management, customer service). Strategic thinker with a keen eye for process optimization and a passion for leveraging technology to drive efficiency.
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management frameworks, and data security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships across departments.
- Proactive and results-oriented leader with a commitment to achieving financial targets.
